AMERICA’S FOOD BASKET OPENS ITS DOORS TO LAWRENCE, MA!

On March 3rd, 2017 America’s Food Basket officially opened its doors to the community of Lawrence, Massachusetts.

With great anticipation to meet the neighborhood, Partners, Edwin Polanco, Frank Diaz, Austin Morda and Alvaro Melendez were in attendance to greet Lawrence Mayor, Danny Rivera and other members of the town. President of the Board of Directors for America’s Food Basket, Carlos Espinal was also in attendance to support his colleagues and be a part of the introduction of the Cooperative’s new location.

Lawrence, is the newest of six successfully running locations in the Massachusetts area.
As the youngest store, Lawrence is the largest of the four America’s Food Basket locations, acquiring a total of 23,000 sq. ft. filled with a wide array of International products and brands. Hot and already prepared foods, a large produce section, freshly baked goods within the bakery and a full Deli packed with top of the line meats and cheeses of your liking will also be available.

The Grand Opening was a celebration for all those who visited. Vendors who have closely worked alongside AFB attended with samplings of their current and newest products for all to try. It was a day filled with pride and excitement for those who have worked so diligently to make this location the best it can be.
